Trail Blazing/Working with YEP Children

Author: Cammie
Location: Norman Island and Brandywine Bay
The crew woke up at what seemed like the crack of dawn and had a delightful cereal breakfast. We set off for the nearby trail up to Spyglass Point. When we started on the road-like trail, we thought it would be easy, but we took a turn onto a very steep, narrow trail and made our way up. Upon arriving at the top we were faced with beautiful viewsand some bonding exercises. We headed over to the Youth Empowerment Project (YEP) after our descent. We were greeted by very enthusiastic kids. We were lucky enough to play baseball and get to know the children. Today was a great day overall.
